South Africa in England 2012
3rd T20
Match Preview

England take on South Africa again tomorrow for the third and final Twenty20 International of the three-match Series at Edgbaston.

The second match was declared a 'no-result' (as the toss had taken place) after England were stuttering on 29-2 off 4.1 overs when a huge and final downpour ended play in a match scheduled for 9 overs each. As a result South Africa will be slight favourites ahead of tomorrow’s finale after preserving their 1-0 series lead over England.

England go into tomorrow’s match in the Midlands aiming for a win and to level the series 1-1. It is going to be rather interesting as this is the final chance for both teams to fine-tune their performance, line-up and strategies ahead of the World Twenty20 next week. Both sides will be eager to come out of this series fully buttoned-up and raring to challenge the other top teams in Sri Lanka.

Both skippers will need to decide whether to retain their major players or select some of those waiting for a chance such as Danny Briggs, Michael Lumb and Tim Bresnan from England's camp. On the other hand, South Africa might not go for less experience and change its winning combination but instead go for a series win to further boost their morale before the big tournament.

It’s set to be an interesting display at Edgbaston and sets cricket fans up for what will be an exciting World T20 Championship next week.
